Their stories could have easily been taken out of a Nicholas Spark novel or from the archives of “Maalala Mo Kaya.” Listening to stories of destiny, true love, and couples going against all the odds, one would think that these came from movie scripts. But the stories told last February 14 were all true stories – love stories of DPOTMH employees who wanted to share their joy with an audience that was eager to listen.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the HRD held a “Best Love Story” contest open to all employees of the DPOTMH. Several couples shared the story of how they met and fell in love, but it was particularly the story of Ariel and Mae that captured the hearts of the judges that day.
Theirs was a story of love and laughter that Ariel gamely shared through a narrative which he admits he wrote with the invaluable help and support of good friend Ms. Beging Burgos. Everyone laughed and loved how the two eventually fell in love, winning Ariel and Mae the award for “Best Love Story”.
