The Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital (DPOTMH) owned and operated by the Riverside Medical Center, Inc. broke ground for their new building last June 26, 2015. The Master Plan Building, as the project is called, is part of the 5-year strategy of the Riverside Medical Center Management, headed by its President and CEO, Mr. Genesis Goldi D. Golingan, to elevate the Hospital to new heights and raise its standards to international levels. The construction of the Master Plan building will allow the DPOTMH to accommodate new medical technology and to meet the ever-increasing need of the community for excellent healthcare. It will also allow the DPOTMH to compete with top medical institutions in the country and even with some international Hospitals.
The Master Plan building is expected to be seven stories high with provisions for a helipad capable of receiving patients transported via medical helicopters. When finished, the Master Plan Building will house some of the latest medical equipment and will increase the overall patient capacity of the DPOTMH to almost 500 beds.
